Vinyline have worked with Beatriz Milhazes on many of her projects in Manchester, Paris, LA and even Brazil. We are thrilled to have been given the opportunity to work with her on her most recent project at Turner Contemporary in Margate, UK. Vinyline created and installed the stunning window graphic, using mixed-media vinyl such as translucent, transparent and frosted, giving a spectacular colourful effect that cascades across the gallery.
As you can see in the time-lapse, our highly skilled installation team applied the colourful jigsaw puzzle, consisting of over 500 individual pieces, which they managed to complete in 4 days with a scissor lift.
The art project ‘O Esplendor’ combines natural motifs from the landscape in Rio with the breath-taking view from Turner Contemporary Sunley Gallery window, seaminglessly blending it with her home horizon, the vast ocean and the limitless sky.
