Vinyline Engrave Bricks at The Cavern Club
In 1997, Vinyline was commissioned to engrave 1,801 bricks for the world-famous Cavern Club in Liverpool – the legendary venue where The Beatles first made their mark. Each brick was inscribed with the name of an artist who had performed at the club since its opening in 1957, creating a lasting tribute to decades of live music.
As part of this historic project, a life-size statue of John Lennon was also unveiled, cementing the Cavern Club’s place as a global landmark for music lovers.
Vinyline was proud to play a role in this celebration of musical heritage, engraving every name using our CNC technology on GRP faux bricks, which were then carefully bonded to the wall.
More than 25 years later, these engraved bricks still stand as a permanent reminder of the club’s rich legacy and the artists who shaped it.
